My flight to the Galapagos was great. However, again, navigating the airport was a pain in the neck. I waited in the wrong line for my boarding pass. A woman sends me to the kiosk inside where It only displays in Spanish. I print out what I think is my boarding pass. I go through security and then was told that my boarding pass was not valid, please go to the counter of LAN airlines and get another pass. I do that and then have to again pass through security check points to get to my gate. All the announcements are in Spanish so each time they call gate 1 i go and wait in line. Twice, I am told not yet. Finally, I get on line and then on the plane at the right time.
The flight was easy. You pay a $100 tax to enter the Island. I see my driver holding a sign with my name on it. We take a 15 minute us ride to a boat that takes us across in another 15-20 minutes. The water was so blue, different blue than any Caribbean blue. I just had to snap a photos. After about an hour drive we reach my hotel, the Galapagos Inn or Casa Judy as she likes it to be called.
